The traditional production of the nutcracker king
In the show workshop of the Seiffener Volkskunst eG, which exists since the 1960s, visitors can look over the shoulders of the artisans at the turning, chip tree stamping or painting. The nutcracker king is one of the most traditional figures, which the manufactory offers since its foundation. Here nutcrackers are produced in about 125 designs and in sizes ranging from 9 cm to 1 m. The nutcracker as a king is particularly popular, as it was the first model of this kind and looks majestic.
