The Seiffen mountain church is one of the most famous motifs of the Erzgebirge. Especially at Christmas time, the famous church can be found in many articles of Erzgebirge folk art. Christmas pyramids, candleholders and candle arches are decorated with the Seiffen church. The work of the many local toymakers has brought the face of the church out into the world. With its octagonal floor plan, the mountain church is reminiscent of the Frauenkirche in Dresden.

The small family business Thomas Preißler from Seiffen produces this decorative candle holder with the landmark of the toy village.
